ZMI Core Shield

• The most recent addition to services offered by New Core involves a new product called, “ZMI, Core Shield.”   Developed by an independent engineering/consulting firm, ZMI is an aqueous solution that has been shown in extensive testing to radically improve the core losses in stators and armatures that fall below industry standards.  ZMI, Core Shield is available as a product which can be purchased and applied by the customer.  However, as the sole distributor of this product, New Core can offer as a service the treatment of customer’s stator or armature cores with ZMI at our facilities.  The process is not difficult but detailed.  Tests have shown that the best results occur when the process is carefully followed.  With our specially built tanks and recovery systems, at New Core we can immerse a customer’s core in ZMI or, in the case of extremely large cores, saturate the core with the solution.  Before and after core loss reports will be supplied.
